IML: PERFECTION IN PROCESS

IML (In Mould Labelling) food packaging application was launched as an outcome of the lean manufacturing principle that was implemented in 2009. Packages for food products such as cheese, yoghurt, chocolate, biscuit and candy have been produced from that time onwards.

IML is known as a High-Performance Moulding Technique due to its speed and wall thickness of the products in the plastic injection applications. IML could be defined as the electrostatic labelling in the mould during the plastic moulding process.

Farel uses fully electrical high speed injection machines that works with servo controlled automated robots for the manufacture of IML parts.

Products are manufactured in a hygienic environment, using random and high impact copolymer PP raw material with the required food approval certificate.

Farel works with big industrial enterprises, such as Ülker, Sütaş, Bahçıvan and Teksüt.

Farel's short term target is to become a leader in this sector.

Farel utilizes cutting edge injection techniques and other technologies in order to manufacture food packages with varying wall thicknesses for the food packaging industry. Although we do have some generic products, we also design our own products.
